Our Garden - May 2012
bluebells

lilac

Although we're opening the garden at the end of the month, the lilac and bluebells will have died back by then so I thought it was worth while wandering around with my camera (despite the wet, wet, wet, weather!).

The views are in no particular order. These both have photos of an Acer or two - close ups below. We've got a baby acer in the garden as well so I'll take some photos of that when it grows a bit!

The wallflowers have been lovely this year and smell delicious. They will probably also have disappeared before we open!

pond

There are goldfish in here - as you'd see if you were here at feeding time when there seems to be hundreds of them coming to the surface.

courgettes

I think the veg in the raised beds would wish they could be in the greenhouse with the courgettes and runner beans. The weather has not been kind (although we desperately needed the rain it could have been a little bit warmer perhaps).

Some of these will go to Dad and some to the open garden plant stall (some, of course, will be for us!)

That's it for this time.
