It won't be long before the fern will need to be cut back for Winter but not just yet.
The Acers turn a wonderful colour in Autumn and to red of the Cotinus goes with them well.

It'll soon be time to cut the heads off the Hydrangeas and dry them ready for Linda

thistle
Most of the thistles are starting to die back but this one still looks quite healthy
A couple of roses are also still clinging on before dying back for Winter

The Pampas is looking pretty good this year (not Jonathon's favourite plant!)
