Our Garden - October 2012
Down the ramp and into the garden we go.... |
The area we call the woodland garden has plenty of colour in it.
It won't be long before the fern will need to be cut back for Winter but not just yet. |
The Acers turn a wonderful colour in Autumn and to red of the Cotinus goes with them well. |
Turning the corner .... |
... and then a quick look back to the Acer I bought with the leaving money I got when I left HSBC |
This is the view from the pond side |
It'll soon be time to cut the heads off the Hydrangeas and dry them ready for Linda |
Looking across the lawn
... and now a bit closer
... and from the other side |
... and from the back of the bed |
Most of the thistles are starting to die back but this one still looks quite healthy |
A couple of roses are also still clinging on before dying back for Winter |
This is the rose that Mum and Dad bought us when we moved in - still going strong |
The Pampas is looking pretty good this year (not Jonathon's favourite plant!) |
The rain from last night looks pretty on the Cotinus |
The hardy Fuchsias are still providing colour in the garden |
Finally one of the grass beds, all settled down for Winter. |
