Pauline's 50th Birthday Party
The story begins in Embleton, Pauline and two of her friends - Lindy and Kath - celebrated their 50th birthdays in 2014 so a lot of their family and friends were invited to a summer party. It started with tea and snacks in the local hall ...

The food arrived but we weren't going to eat in the hall, instead we were going to have a picnic party on the beach.

By any standards, this wasn't a bad back drop for a party!

Rained off, we broke camp and went back to the hall.

The formal part of the party lasted about 5 minutes. Ian proposed a toast to the birthday girls, we all sang "Happy Birthday" and gave three cheers.
