Our Garden - March 2013
|
||
A few photos from our garden in March. The Spring bulbs are showing through and everything is coming back into life. The first few photos were taken on 3 March 2013. March is an amzing month - so many changes in a few short weeks. |

The catkins on the Corylus Contorta are always good to see. We don't get any of the nuts - the squirrels always get there first! |
|
Crocuses are such pretty flowers. |

People often think that snowdrops are the first flower in the Spring but they're not - our aconites are always out first. The snowdrops are lovely though! |

Helebores are great as well. These "rose" type ones are very different to the green ones below left. |

I thought we'd lost these a few years ago when we had a cold winter but they've rallied a bit this year. |

The Sarcococca smells lovely at this time of year. |

This was the only primula in flower on 3 March 2013. Hopefully the others will catch up before too long. |
