We went down to Masek Lake to see the hippopotamus but they were very unsociable - just popping their noses out for a quick breath then back under. This one did show it's head for a yawn but the photo below is more typical of what we saw.

I've combined hippo and buffalo on the same page as they are both very unpredicatable and quite dangerous animals in the areas we stayed.
